You will need Adobe Standard X to password protect your pdf.
If you do not have the below, contact the helpdesk for installation.
Click "Tools"---->"Protection"---->"Encrypt"---->"Encrypt with Password"
Click "Yes"
Click "Require a password to open the document"---->set password
Confirm password
Click "OK"
Click "Yes"
(close the pdf and the below message will appear)
